Look: I really am not a fan of the “LazyWeb” phenomenon, but I am stumped on this one, and so I put the question to you the viewer: does anyone out there know how to print one process color as another — like, to have everything that’s black actually output as cyan? Like from a PDF, or from InDesign?? The obvious answer is “monotone it in photoshop”, to which the obvious retort is “I am not going to suffer through rasterizing all 200 fucking pages of this thing”. Another obvious answer is “ink manager alias, LOL”, to which I would respond, “doesn’t work on process inks WTF?”
The only answers to this specific problem I have seen involve the purchase of nebulous, weird prepress software from sketchy-looking websites. HELP ME!!
